  The fifth anesthesiology annual meeting of shandong geriatrics society was successfully held on June 6, 2019 at Jinan Shunhe International Hotel. This event invited well-known experts from China and the province to give academic lectures and discussed perioperative anesthesia for elderly patients management optimization methods, technologies and new developments. At the same time, a symposium on typical cases of elderly anesthesia was also held, where everyone expressed their opinions and raised the level of clinical anesthesia treatment for elderly patients.
