On the morning of April 24, 2021, the opening ceremony of the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association of Anesthesiologists (CAA) was held in Shanghai. The theme of this annual meeting is "Anesthesiologists are the vanguard and main force in emergency and critical care". It is co-sponsored by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Anesthesiologist Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and undertaken by Ruijin Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine.

The "epidemic" is deeply affectionate, and the doctors are fearless! Looking back on 2020, in this battle against the new crown epidemic, medical staff in the field of anesthesiology across the country, under the leadership of the Anesthesiologists Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, abide by their mission, actively participate in the front line of epidemic prevention and control, and save lives. The colleagues in the anesthesiology department use their responsibilities and missions to protect the health of the people, and with professionalism and ingenuity to take on the vanguard and main force of emergency rescue.
